2019 Hennessey Corvette ZR1 Coupe

With the all-new mid-engine Corvette getting closer to dealers by the day, Hennessey is sending the last front-engine Vette out with a bang. Hennessey is offering three ultra-performance packages for the 2019 ZR1 — the HPE850, HPE1000, and HPE1200 with 850, 1,000, and 1,200 horsepower respectively. The HPE1200 gets thorough upgrades to the supercharged 6.2-liter V8, from a ported factory super to new camshafts, high-flow stainless steel exhaust and catalytic converters, and upgraded eight-speed auto transmission or stock seven-speed manual. To get all 1,2000 horsepower and 1,066 lb-ft of torque, you'll need racing fuel — on 93 octane pump gas, 1,1000 horsepower is available. Hennessey didn't release performance specs on the HPE1200, but the HPE1000 hits 0-60 in 2.3 seconds with a top speed of 230 MPH, so expect significantly better numbers with 200 more horses.
