Aston Martin Rapide E All-Electric Sports Car

Aston Martin's first all-electric vehicle is ready to order. Limited to 155 units, the Rapide E sedan packs an 800-volt electrical system with a 65 kWh, 5,600-cell lithium-ion battery pack good for 602 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. Performance will be better than the V12 Rapide AMR, with sub-four second 0-60 times, although top speed is limited to 155 MPH. The Rapide E will charge 185 miles per hour on a 400-volt 50kW charger, with 300 miles per hour on a 100kW 800-volt charger. The GT sedan can travel 200 miles on a single charge, and comes with all the luxury one would expect from Aston Martin. The Rapide E will start deliveries in 2020.
