The third generation of Bentley's Continental GT grand tourer is here with a new twin-turbo V8 that promises performance almost as good as the W12 model. With 542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, the coupe sprints from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds to a top speed of 198 MPH, with the same top speed and a 4.0 second 0-60 run for the convertible. Both models ride on a dynamic suspension with Bentley's active all-wheel-drive that sends 100% of torque to the rear wheels in normal driving and varies the torque split based on demand. An eight-speed transmission and cylinder shutoff system help keep the powerful GT as fuel-efficient as possible, with a range of 500 miles on a full tank — making sure you get the maximum amount of grand touring in between pitstops. The Continental GT launches in the US in Fall 2019, with deliveries to the rest of the world starting in early 2020.
