When the new Ford Raptor was announced, the company touted the improved fuel economy while some lamented the loss of a V8 option. Hennessey's VelociRaptor V8 brings it back. Instead of simply matching the 450hp of the twin-turbo V6, it ups the output to 758 hp via a new Ford-supplied 5.0L V8, 2.9L supercharger, and 10-speed automatic. As a result, the truck moves from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. Other enhancements include new bumpers and LED front lights, a Stage 2 off-road suspension with a six-inch lift, 20-inch alloy wheels, and 37-inch BF Goodrich KM03 off-road tires. Production is limited to just 100 examples for 2019, and a new Raptor is included in the price.
