AEV Jeep Wrangler Outpost II

Jeep's are great for offroad daytripping, but for an extended stay in the outdoors you're going to need to pack a lot of equipment — or bring a different vehicle altogether. American Expedition Vehicles Outpost II concept takes the Jeep Wrangler and converts it into a small, nimble RV that can have you and a friend enjoying the wild for days at a time. The Outpost II replaces everything behind the front seats with a composite camper, complete with side-hinged roof. Solar panels on the camper shell power all your electronic gear along with a gas-fired kitchenette, and included are the typical heavy-duty AEV treatment of suspension, tires, and stamped-steel bumpers. AEV isn't planning on offering the Outpost II for production, but it's an excellent idea of what you can do wit ha Jeep.
