2020 McLaren Speedtail No. 69

McLaren revived the spirit of its legendary F1 supercar in 2020 with the Speedtail. Like the F1, the Speedtail features a three-seat cockpit, with the driver front and center, and dihedral doors. The Speedtail clearly shows the evolution of automotive technology since the F1, with a hybrid 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 and electric motor, making a total of 1,035 horsepower, the latter being designed by McLaren's Formula E division. The sleek, aerodynamically crafted bodywork features active aero elements and covers a carbon fiber chassis with active multilink suspension, giving the Speedtail a top speed of 250 MPH. Each of the 106 Speedtail owners was vetted by McLaren, with the car here being number 69. It sports a custom colorway of Liquid Blue Silver paint over a Rich Blue and Gray full aniline leather interior, just part of the over $450,000 worth of options on the build sheet. The car shows just 54 miles and will go to auction in Arizona via RM Sotheby's.
