2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is reborn for 2021 as a full-size three-row SUV in the mold of the classic Grand Wagoneer. Like the Grand Wagoneer, the new Grand Cherokee has a focus on luxury while retaining the offroad capability Jeep is known for, with a range of engine options and drive systems two to all-wheel-drive. The V6 and Hemi V8 engines from the previous generation will carry over, with eight and ten-speed automatic transmissions. Three all-wheel-drive systems are available with electronically-locking center and rear differentials. A new air suspension raises or lowers the body between less than an inch to over 2.5 inches. The biggest draw is the exterior, with a bold, upright look that has cues from the original Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee models of the past. Inside is a more upscale interior with higher-quality materials topped by a new center console and 8.4-inch touchscreen. The 2021 Grand Cherokee should arrive in dealers in mid-2021.
