2022 Yamaha Ténéré 700 Raid Prototype Motorcycle

Yamaha's Ténéré 700 has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best dual-sport bikes on the market. Now, Yamaha is improving its off-road capability with the Ténéré 700 Raid Prototype, developed in Europe and tested in the harsh terrain of Northern Africa. Raiding their in-house Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing parts bin, Yamaha added a 48mm long-travel fork in CNC'd triple clamps, a rear shock with 260mm of travel, and improved suspension linkage. The twin-lunger gets a full titanium Akrapovič race exhaust, Rekluse clutch, dual cooling fans, and a larger oil cooler. Brake lines have been replaced with braid steel lines and bigger 300mm front and 267mm rear discs. Yamaha plans to bring the Ténéré 700 Raid Prototype into production sometime in the next year.
