2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R Truck

Ford is giving the Raptor the biggest upgrade in the model's 12-year history with the upcoming Raptor R. The 5.2-liter, supercharged V8 engine from the Mustang GT500 powers the truck, giving the Raptor R 700 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. Not just a straight drop-in, the V8 gets a recalibrated supercharger, stainless steel exhaust manifolds, larger-capacity oil cooler and pan, and a larger air intake. A 10-speed automatic transmission backs the V8 and gets adjustments for the Raptor R application. The suspension has electronically-controlled Fox Live Valve shocks tuned specifically for the Raptor R, with all driving mode settings able to be saved into one custom global setting at the touch of a button. The Raptor R is available for preorder now, with production starting in late 2022.
