2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe

The AMG performance version of the new GLC Coupe will arrive next in two performance flavors — the 416 horsepower GLC 43 and the range-topping 671 horsepower GLC 63. Both models get the new GLC Coupe fastback bodywork that lowers practicality while upping style and aerodynamics. The GLC 43 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four and gets a bump from a belt attached to the starter motor at low speeds. The GLC 63 E S Performance, however, drops the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 for an F1-style electric turbo V6 and mild hybrid system. Total output is nearly double the outgoing V8, although weight is up significantly as well. Both AMG models benefit from all-wheel-drive, rear-wheel steering, and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The AMG GLC 43 arrives early in 2024, while the AMG 63 E S Performance will hit dealers later in 2024 as a 2025 model.
