A-Five Meats

Chef Marc Zimmerman and Ben Jorgensen opened GOZU as an open-fire Wagyu experience highlighting the Japanese beef. With restaurants temporarily closed due to COVID-19, the meat master is helping refined carnivores across the globe continue to get their fix with A-Five Meats. The premium beef distribution company is shipping out boxes filled with quality cuts of wagyu and Angus sourced from ranches in Japan, Australia, and America. Each steak is chilled, never frozen, and comes vacuum-sealed for a three-week shelf life in the refrigerator but can also be stored in the freezer for up to two months. Packages are offered in two options including a 30-piece mix and a 14-cut Wagyu only pack as well as a monthly subscription that explores different farms across the globe every month. As a tribute to their product's authenticity, the company logo features a gold foil nose print of a cow — a symbol that's used to identify each animal before purchase.
