Airstream x REI Co-op SE Basecamp 20X Camper

Airstream and REI introduced their first collaboration in 2022 with the REI Co-op Special Edition Basecamp. For 2023, the REI Special Edition gets an upgrade with the Basecamp 20X, with even better amenities and a larger footprint. The Basecamp 20X's floor plan is now 20 square feet, sleeping up to four people with a convertible dining area and rear hatch for quick ingress and egress, and an in-floor cooler that doubles as wet gear storage. The 20X comes with the X-Package, an uprated off-road suite that adds a 3-inch suspension lift, Goodyear all-terrain tires, and an L-track storage system for bikes, kayaks, and all manner of outdoor gear. The previous model's emphasis on sustainability carries over, with a recirculating water heater, a UV water purification system, and an available composting toilet, with larger holding tanks to extend outdoor stays. Total weight is just 3,500 pounds, making it towable by a wide range of vehicles.
