Andy Warhol's Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Watch

Along with being a preeminent artist, Andy Warhol was also an avid watch collector. Now his most desirable timepiece — a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Ref. 3448 — is again up for auction. Dating to 1977, it has a 39 mm case crafted from 18-karat yellow gold, a silvered dial, gold indices and hands, a moon display at six o'clock, and day and month windows at 12 o'clock. In impressive condition given its age and with outstanding provenance, it's expected to bring well into six figures when it comes across the block during Christie's Important Watches on December 5th.
