BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition

BMW's i8 is already a desirable car. The BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition just makes it a little more so. This limited-edition release trades in the car's traditional paint for a stealthy matte black livery, complimented by frozen grey metallic accents. Features and performance will otherwise be identical to its standard stablemate, with sales slated to begin later this year.

  • Eagle Spyder GT

With 30 years experience working with Jaguar E-Types, there are few people more qualified to build their own than Eagle. The Eagle Spyder GT is in fact the company's fourth model, staying true to the spirit of the 1960s classic while adding a few improvements of its own. Its body is decidedly more sleek and lightweight, a fact that helps the 4.7L, 330hp aluminum V6 engine feel that much more spry. The engine is mated to a smooth manual five-speed, and linked with the road by thick wire wheels. The end result is a great-driving car that's perhaps even more beautiful than its inspiration, and well worth the 4,000 hours it takes to build.

  • 2018 Ford Mustang

It doesn't look all that different — a lowered hood and grille here, all-LED front lights there — but it's on the inside that the 2018 Ford Mustang makes noticeable gains on its predecessor. Behind the steering wheel sits Ford's first 12-inch, all-digital LCD dashboard, which can be customized to suit your needs and preferences — just like the drive settings and exhaust note. Its Sync Connect system lets you start, lock, unlock, and locate your Mustang using your phone, and it comes with a full suite of safety features, including pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warnings, and lane-keep assist. The Mustang's heart has always been a powerful engine, however, and the latest model doesn't disappoint there, either, with either a surprisingly powerful 2.3L EcoBoost powerplant or, of course, a 5.0L V8 in the GT.
