Aston Martin DBZ Centenary Collection

Italian design house Zagato will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019, and long-time partner Aston Martin is helping them celebrate in a big way. In 1960, Aston Martin planned a run of 25 DB4s rebodied by Zagato to challenge Ferrari's sportscar dominance. Only 19 were made due to a lack of demand, and now Aston Martin is building 19 more track-only DB4 GT Zagatos, along with 19 new DBS GT Zagatos. The cars will only be sold in pairs, with Aston Martin providing only a teaser sketch of the DBS GT Zagato. Based on the DBS Superleggera, the DBS GT Zagato will have all new bodywork, featuring a double bubble roof and shortened rear deck in the style of the DB4 GT. The DB4s begin shipping in late 2019, with the DBS following the next year.
