Baltic 80 Café Racer Sailing Yacht
Baltic Yachts named its new 80-foot sailing yacht after the café racer motorcycles that ruled 1960s London, but the debut hull looks like it rode in from "Miami Vice" instead. The Baltic 80 Café Racer is the bigger sibling to the yard's original 68-footer, and naval architect Javier Jaudenes kept it just under 79 feet on purpose, short enough that an owner can captain it without a professional license, unlike most yachts its size. Inside, the debut hull leans into the same attitude: floral-print couches, a bright orange primary suite, a blue-toned bedframe with an abstract fish design on the wall, and a blue-lacquered galley. Owners who want something calmer can opt for a version built around light oak and neutral fabrics instead, with the galley left open to the saloon or closed off, depending on how much they want to entertain versus retreat.
