BMW CE 02 Electric Motorbike

BMW Motorrad is going small with the CE 02, an electric bike designed for entry-level riders and urban transport. The CE 02 has 15 horsepower and 41 lb-ft of torque on tap from two 48v 1.96kWh batteries with a maximum range of 56 miles. A 20%-80% charge can be had in 170 minutes, with the high-capacity charger on the Highline package cutting that figure down to 140 minutes. A low 29.5-inch seat height and electronic aids like stability control and reverse make the CE 02 appealing to new riders and offer ease of use during city commutes. A micro TFT display gives speed and charge status among other information, along with a USB-C charging port and BMW Motorrad Connected app access. The Highline offers a handlebar mount that allows smartphones to double as an additional display.
