Breitling Top Time DB5 Tribute Watch
In Thunderball, Sean Connery's Bond wore a Breitling Top Time rigged with a Geiger counter. It was the first watch Q Branch ever built gadgets into, enabling Bond to detect radiation while he tracked stolen nuclear warheads, all while driving the Aston Martin DB5. That Top Time remains the only Breitling ever worn by a cinematic Bond. Breitling's new tribute revives the pairing without naming it. The case is stainless steel at 41mm, with a silver-toned dial and a wooden inner bezel inlaid around the tachymeter scale, built to mirror the DB5's wooden steering wheel. The strap is hand-colored gradient calfskin, finished to resemble the Aston Martin's leather upholstery. The movement is the Breitling 01, a self-winding manufacture caliber. A sapphire crystal covers the dial. Water resistance holds to 330 feet. It's limited to 1,022 pieces.
