Bruichladdich Thirty Aged Years Scotch Whiskey
Built in 1881, Islay's Bruichladdich closed its doors in 1994, only to reopen in 2001. Before it was shuttered, two staff members were elected to safeguard the remaining casks. Some of the whisky inside those bourbon barrels has finally been released as Bruichladdich Thirty Aged Years. This Single Malt Scotch was bottled at 43.2% ABV and offers flavors of tropical fruit, dark chocolate, black pepper, and oak. Limited by its age and nature, it's joined in the distillery's Luxury Redefined by an 18-year-old expression made using some of the first whiskey they crafted after re-opening.
