Bugatti W16 Mistral Fly Bug
For one anonymous collector, Bugatti's finest automobiles double as an insect collection. The 'Fly Bug' is the fourth Sur Mesure commission in a series that began with the 'Hellbug' Veyron, continued through the 'Hellbee' Chiron and 'Lady Bug' Divo, and now lands on the dragonfly. Developed at Bugatti's Berlin Design Studio, the exterior is finished in 'Dragonfly Blue,' a bespoke paint that shifts between blue and turquoise depending on angle and light. An ellipse pattern covers the body, tightening toward the rear before dissolving into the air intakes, with the same motif carried across the door panels and armrest, a first for the brand. Inside, the cabin pairs Alcantara with leather in a matching geometric finish. Under all of it: 1,578 horsepower from an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16, a seven-speed dual-clutch, and a top speed of 282 mph, making the W16 Mistral the fastest open-top production car ever built.
