Casa Maria Luigia

Just 20 minutes from his three-Michelin-star restaurant in Modena, Italy, chef and restaurateur Massimo Bottura is opening Casa Maria Luigia. The elevated bed and breakfast is housed in a picturesque 18th-century estate surrounded by 200-year old oak trees and the Emilian countryside. The 12-room interior is decked out in a sophisticated mix of vintage and contemporary furnishing as well as a collection of art, photographs, and sculptures from renowned international artists. Meals are served in the eat-in kitchen that is thoughtfully stocked with local favorites like Parmigiano Reggiano, Aceto Balsamico, and Lambrusco. With a vinyl room and cocktail lounge, there's plenty to enjoy within the manor while a swimming pool, tennis court, and vegetable garden allow guests to explore the impeccable grounds.
