Comme des Garçons x Air Jordan 11 Sneaker
The Air Jordan 11 has never had an outside collaborator, not once since Tinker Hatfield designed it in 1995, excluded even from Nike's own internal Doernbecher charity program that reworks other classic silhouettes each year. Comme des Garçons Homme Plus becomes the first brand ever granted access to it, applying Rei Kawakubo's stripped-down design language: matte leather panels set against the AJ11's signature glossy patent leather mudguard, with debossed branding replacing the model's usual embroidery. It comes in two colorways, a black-on-black pair and a white-on-white pair, both trading the shoe's usual shine for something closer to modern menswear than basketball. It's launching through Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons retail, ahead of a wider release through Nike SNKRS.
