Expedition Portal member Scott had a very specific set of criteria when he began designing his overlander — reliability, capability, and room for his 6'6" and his massive dogs. The only way Scott could get everything he wanted was to do it himself, and so he got started by designing the living quarters in Solidworks and then molding the composite camper himself. Mounted to a Ford F-550, this is an amazing expedition vehicle, even if you aren't tall and have huge dogs. Solar panels and lithium-ion batteries power everything on board, and the F-550's motor can act as a backup generator if needed. 100 gallons of water storage, an induction cooktop, and a beautiful living area with panoramic views make this one of the most unique campers on the market. You can watch it action here, or head over to Expedition Portal to purchase.
