Dahlonega House

A David Jameson-design is now up for sale. Originally built in 1969, the award-winning architect gave the mid-century dwelling a refresh and an expansion back in 2013. The renovation extended the house to 4,724 square feet to include five-bedrooms and six-and-a-half-baths. Its contemporary cube form is comprised of a glass and weathered steel facade, concealing bright, open spaces on the interior. The airy atmosphere is created by a glazed box sitting above the main living area, flooding the lower level with natural light. Along with a second story deck with views of the Potomac River, internal rooms flow out to multiple patios and terraces creating a strong connection with the indoors and the landscape.
