Ten years of research and development later, Drako Motors GTE sedan is ready for the public. Based in Silicon Valley, Drako was founded by Dean Drako and Shiv Sikand with the goal of producing ultra-high performance electric vehicles. The GTE looks like it has succeeded — the four-door sedan comes with four electric motors, a 90 kWh battery, and 1,200 horsepower. Drako claims a top speed of 206 MPH and acceleration figures that should be equally as eyebrow-raising with a claimed 6,500 ft-lb of torque. All this power is put to the ground through all four wheels, with a sophisticated software system that eliminates the usual differential and can redirect torque to each wheel over 1,000 times per second. The GTE will be limited to just 25 examples.
