Ducati Monster Senna Edition Motorcycle
Two months before F1 legend Ayrton Senna was killed at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, Ducati introduced the first motorcycle to bear his name — the 916 Senna. A relationship between Senna and Ducati was established just a year earlier when Senna purchased a Monster M900, becoming one of the first owners of the bike that reinvented the motorcycle landscape. A new Monster Senna special edition marks the third signature bike from Ducati, wearing a livery based on the Senna's driving helmet. On the wheels are matching tags in yellow, blue, and green and matching yellow brake calipers. Underneath the livery is the latest Monster, slimmed down by 10 pounds and powered by Ducati's 111 horsepower Testastretta 11° engine. The Ducati Senna is limited to 341 examples. Three for the number of F1 Driver's Championships Senna won, and 41 for the number of first-place finishes over his career.
