ECD Land Rover Series 2A SUV

Classic Land Rover on the outside; classic American V8 power and modern components on the inside — this is ECD Automotive Design's take on the Land Rover Series 2A station wagon. ECD was founded in the USA by three Britishers and have grown to become one of the top Land Rover restoration experts in the world. This Series 2A is the culmination of the know-how they've gained over the last six years and their commitment to quality. Starting with motor, the stock 70-horsepower engine was swapped for something a bit more powerful — a Corvette LS3 making 430 horsepower. Not wanting to take away from Land Rover's offroad capability, Zeus disc brakes were fitted at all four corners and modern composite leaf springs were installed on new Puma axles. The original chassis has been strengthened, and the interior gets new seats and seating surfaces while retaining the classic Land Rover utilitarianism. Altogether, this is one of the best blends of classic and modern we've seen and stands out in a crowded marketplace.
