Ferrari 488 GT Modificata Track Car
Ferrari is taking the best of their 488 GTE and GT3 programs and throwing out the FIA rulebook to make a track car without limits. Pushing the 488 platform to its limits, the twin-turbo V8 has new components along with tech taken directly from Ferrari's racing programs and now makes 690 horsepower. The transmission has a suite of ratios to suit different circuits, and a carbon fiber competition clutch makes sure the drivetrain is as reliable as a street-going 488. Extensive time in the wind tunnel and at the Nurburgring resulted in a new aero package that increases downforce without increasing drag and also cuts weight thanks to carbon fiber bodywork. To make sure you're getting the most out of the 488 Modificata, a V-Box and Bosch telemetry system record every possible performance parameter. Along with the car comes an opportunity to compete in works races around the world in 2021. Tracks include Suzuka, Monza, and Watkins Glen.
