GTO Engineering has been restoring and maintaining classic Ferrari's for the last three decades. With that expertise, the UK-based firm has started producing its own cars, the first being an expert recreation of the Ferrari 250 250 GT SWB Competizione. The next offering from GTO Engineering is code-named the Moderna and is a modernized take on the mother of all '60s sports cars — the Ferrari 250 GTO. GTO Engineering is planning a lightly modified carbon-fiber body that sculpts the classic shape into a more aero-friendly form. The chassis will feature materials and design that wouldn't have been possible in the early '60s, and a handbuilt Ferrari-based V12 will provide the power. The whole package will come in at under 2,200 pounds. GTO Engineering is taking inquiries from prospective customers now.
