Fisker All-Electric SUV

Designer Henrik Fisker has been working on a three-car lineup for his namesake electric vehicle company. The crossover SUV is the first of these three models to come, with an expected launch date of 2021 and a price of around $40,000 — a third below that of the range-topping, solid-state battery EMotion sedan. The as-yet-unnamed SUV promises 300 miles of range, an 80+ kWh lithium-ion battery pack — not the solid-state battery under development — and features like a push-button retractable roof and radar underneath a glass panel in the front grille. Fisker expects a drivable prototype later in 2019 and manufacturing to take place in the US, along with a direct-to-consumer sales model. Until then, the details are light, but we'll be anticipating more when the prototype is unveiled to the public.
