Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV

Ford's first true electric SUV is here with the Mustang Mach-E, leveraging Mustang branding wrapped in crossover packaging and promising performance to live up to its name. The Mustang Mach-E is the first car to wear the Mustang name that doesn't fit the familiar long-hood, short deck pony car profile, along with current EV styling cues like a grille-less front end and a massive touchscreen interface. The four-door body and raised ride height will no doubt strike a note with purists, but the practicality — and sales trends — make it the right decision. The spec sheet puts the Mach-E GT, and especially the Mach-E GT Performance Edition, in the realm of Tesla and the European competition, with 0-60 times in the sub-four and mid-three second range respectively. Two battery options will be available at launch, good for 300 miles with the extended-range option. Power figures are 332 horsepower and 417 ft-lb of torque for the base model, with all-wheel and rear-wheel drive available. The Mustang Mach-E should hit showroom floors in late 2020.
