Icon FJ40 Roadster

A true is classic is best left alone — that's Icon's philosophy behind the FJ40 roadster the company brought to this year's SEMA show. One of the most beloved 4x4s in history, Icon chose to let their take on the FJ stand for itself. But like most of Icon's work, there's a lot going on under the skin. A 430 horsepower LS V8 resides under the hood connected to a five-speed manual, and heavy-duty Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axles coupled to Fox shocks and Eibach improve the FJ40's offroad credentials. Tucked behind the vintage-style aluminum wheels are Brembo brakes. What you won't find are air conditioning, infotainment screens, exotic materials, or even a heater — although Icon did bow to creature comforts with heated seats. What Icon did here is the definition of a restomod — improving the basics while keeping the essence intact.

With built-in voice assistance, users can start cleaning with a simple command, and when the job is done, the vacuum will retreat to its dock to automatically empty, wash, dry, and recharge itself. The S8 MaxV Ultra will be available April 22, 2024, and for a limited time, get a triple gift pack valued at $1,000 with your purchase.
