Gemballa Avalanche 4×4 Porsche 911 Coupe

German Porsche tuner Gemballa has released a teaser for something they've been working on for nearly four years — a four-wheel-drive Porsche 911 based on the 991 and 992 platform. The concept sketches reveal what looks like a true off-road-capable 911, with knobby tires, a huge suspension lift, and modified bodywork. Most notable in the revised panels are shorter front and rear overhangs, a NACA duct in the front hood, and two large intakes on the roof to get plenty of air to the rear-mounted engine. Gemballa didn't release any performance specifications, but their current offerings for the 911 include an 818 horsepower twin-turbo setup — so expect something similar, or even more powerful, in the Avalanche. Gemballa expects to have a rear-world Avalanche in the next two years.
