Genesis Magma Vehicle Program

Genesis is fleshing itself out as a fully-fledged luxury car maker with the launch of the Magma performance line. Aiming at Mercedes' AMG and BMW's M, Genesis plans to have a Magma version of each car in its lineup. The first Magma vehicle revealed is the GV60, an electric crossover introduced in 2023. The GV60 Magma ditches the trademark Genesis shield grille, replaced with a wider and lower fascia and bigger openings for better airflow. Wider fenders come with integrated air outlets for cooling the batteries, motor, and brakes. Side curtains visually lower the car and help with aerodynamics, and wider fenders cover titanium-colored 21-inch wheels with integrated aero discs. The interior is color-keyed to the exterior, with body-colored seatbacks and diamond-stitched leather in suede and grey. No release date for the Magma model line has been announced.
