Gunther Werks Project Endgame

Gunther Werks built 25 naturally aspirated 993 Speedsters and called the program done. Project Endgame is the one-of-one GWX commission that reopened it, and the only turbocharged open-top 993 the brand will ever make. A Rothsport Racing-built twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six produces 840 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed manual in a car weighing 2,600 pounds with a 7,500-rpm redline. Six-piston Brembo GTR front calipers work 14-inch carbon ceramic discs, four-piston rears handle 13.6-inch discs, and 18x11-inch forged magnesium wheels sit up front. The Iron Man references are hard to miss: True Candy Red paint took three weeks to apply, 24-karat gold covers the mirrors, headlight bezels, and intercoolers, six gemstones set into the shift knob map the gear positions in the pattern of Tony Stark's Infinity Stones, and an arc reactor is mounted between the seats. The carbon-backed racing seats are red, black, and gold leather and Alcantara, and the GW Evo carbon fiber wing appears on a Speedster for the first time out back. The price is undisclosed, the run is limited to one.
