A trio of Hasselblad cameras was used to document the Apollo 11 moon landing — only one of which made the return trip. The 907X Special Edition was created to celebrate this legacy. It pairs the 907X camera body with a CFV II 50C digital back, both finished in matte black like the Hasselblad Electric Camera that made it back to Earth. The text "On the Moon Since 1969" is set on the side of the digital back, a nod to the two cameras used on the lunar surface that remained on the Moon. Unlike those historic models, however, the 907X is fully modern, with a 50-megapixel medium format sensor, tilting, 60fps live view screen, and powerful wireless capabilities. Availability will be announced later this year.
