Heffner Performance Elite Ford GT Coupe

When Ford brought back it's legendary GT40 in the guise of the GT in 2005, it was an instant classic. The car remains a high performer, both on the track and in the collector market. With 550 horsepower from its supercharged V8, the GT's performance is still good over a decade later — but good just isn't enough for some people. For those who need more, Heffner Performance has offered packages that can boost the first-gen GT to over 1,100 horsepower at the wheel — meaning all that power is available on the street, not just a dyno. Heffner has outdone even that ridiculous figure with their new Elite twin-turbo system, using a heavily upgraded Ecoboost V6 like that in the second-gen GT to put down 2,000 horsepower at the rear wheels, more than Bugatti's quad-turbo W16 Chiron hypercar. While the upgrade won't be cheap, it will run a lot less than the Chiron's $2 million-plus price in a lighter and arguably more attractive package.
