Hennessey HPE1000 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan

The American sports sedan superhero, Cadillac's CTS-V, is coming to the end after 15 years in production. With its Corvette-sourced V8 and great handling, the CTS-V made a name for itself in what had previously been the exclusive territory of German sedans. In order to give the CTS-V a worthy ride into the sunset, Hennessey is working its high-performance magic on this last generation with its HPE1000 package. The 6.2-liter V8 gets a high-flow supercharger, myriad internal upgrades, and an ECU retune that adds 340 horsepower for an even 1,000 hp and 966 lb-ft of torque. That's good enough to launch the HPE1000 CTS-V from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, putting this four-door in the rarified air of the world's fastest supercars — a fitting end to a great chapter in the history of Cadillac.
