2018 marked the 70th anniversary of Land Rover. The company celebrated with a 70th Anniversary Edition Defender that became an instant hit with fans and collectors, and the opportunity to get one now is nearly impossible. Himalaya decided to create their own take on the 70th Anniversary Defender — but better in every way. Every build starts with a UK import Defender. Completely disassembled, the chassis is coated in heavy-duty urethane paint and rebuilt with all-new parts. This version of the Defender gets a special drivetrain — a GM LS3 V8 backed by a six-speed automatic transmission, giving the truck power and drivability even the 2018 version could only dream of. The powertrain is complemented by Fox suspension, roll cage, skid plates, and Himalaya's bespoke 18-inch wheels and BF Goodrich tires.
