HMS Owl Air Control Tower

Formerly the base for the Fleet Air Arm, the HMS Owl Air Control Tower embraces its derelict shell to produce an impressive getaway in the Scottish Highlands. The four-story exterior now dons a matte black coating, giving the structure a shadowy presence among the verdant landscape. Although the building has undergone a five-year renovation, it hasn't lost its WWII-era charm. Original Crittall steel windows remain within the exposed brick walls while a collection of antique furnishings and factory-style fixtures compliment the brooding relic. Guests are housed in the top level room where they can enjoy surreal sunsets from the king-size bed. Breakfast is available upon request as well as access to the sitting room.
