Hope Electric Bike Concept
Electric scooter company Vectrix's VX-1 scooter is perfectly serviceable transportation — if a little drab in the design department. Designer Samuel Aguiar has cured the staid appearance of the VX-1 with the Hope concept. Removing all the VX-1's bodywork, Aguiar has replaced the usual scooter step-through seating with a more motorcycle-oriented riding position and gleaming, polished and matte-black aluminum panels. The rivets and fully-enclosed styling evoke land speed machines, accented by flush-mounted head- and brake lights. While it won't be breaking any records, it will be drawing plenty of admiring looks.
