Keith Richards' 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

If this car could talk, the book would sell nearly as many copies as Keith Richard's band has. That band is, of course, The Rolling Stones, and this 1974 Dino was bought new by the group's lead guitarist. Preservation wasn't Richards' goal — the car covered nearly 25,000 miles under his ownership before it was sold to a Japanese collector in 1986. The car is an upgraded "E-spec" model, with instrumentation in Imperial units, and is presented in its original silver over a Nero interior. The car returned to Europe in 2014, purchased by another British musician — Liam Howlett, cofounder of the band Prodigy. The motor was rebuilt under Liam's ownership, before passing on to two subsequent owners. The car will go to auction August 17, 2023 in Monterey, California.
