Koto x Abodu Modular Houses

UK-based Koto is invading the Bay Area through their collaboration with US startup Abodu. The partnership aims to increase property value and create rental revenue for San Jose residents by streamlining the building process of backyard homes. They've developed a permitting program that has pre-approved 500-square-foot apartments, expediting the turnaround time to just two weeks. Buyers will get a sleek, Scandinavian-inspired dwelling that features one bedroom, a kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Interiors are fitted with premium finishes and Wolf and Fisher & Paykel appliances while decking, landscaping, and furniture upgrades are available.
