Lamborghini Islero Coupe
Lamborghini named the Islero after the Spanish fighting bull that killed the matador Manolete in 1947, a grim namesake for what was meant to be the brand's more civilized answer to the mid-engine Miura. This particular car, chassis 6366, is one of just 125 first-series Isleros built before Lamborghini revised the car into the Islero S. Under the hood is the same basic V12 Lamborghini built for the Miura, and its 15-inch Campagnolo wheels, refinished in 2024, were shared between the two cars as well. This example also carries the round side markers and driving lights that Lamborghini introduced late in the Islero's run, just before that switch to the S. The five-digit odometer shows roughly 50,000 miles, with just 2,000 added in the past two years, a rare amount of rest for a car built to be driven hard.
