Legend Motor Co. of Utah is building what might be the ultimate Defender restomod on the market with its Signature Series. The Legend Series starts with an all-aluminum Defender 110 body with a proprietary protective Kevlar liner that's color-matched to the body. The real magic happens when the body is mated with a Jeep JK chassis -- outfitted with Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust piggyback dampers -- carrying a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. Dana 60 axles are driven through an Atlas aluminum two-stick transfer case with front and rear ARB air lockers, paired with Wilwood brakes and 37-inch BFGoodrich tires on 17-inch steel wheels. The interior is as well considered as the exterior and drivetrain. Hand-sewn full-aniline open-grain leather covers the front captain's chairs, rear bench, and jump seats in the cargo area.
