Leica's M10 launched in 2017. A short time in real years, a lifetime in technology. And while the hand-built body and manual rangefinder controls have aged well, the sensor hasn't. Leica's M10-R rectifies this. Its full-frame, 40-megapixel CMOS sensor is a cousin of the M10 Monochrom, capturing rich detail thanks to the lack of a low-pass filter, and minimizing vibration (and unwanted attention) with a whisper-quiet shutter. On the back is a Gorilla Glass-covered touchscreen for quick review, but the camera is also compatible with Leica's FOTOS app, which easily allows for on-the-spot reviews, edits, and shares. Available in black or silver.
