Lexus TZ Electric SUV
The Lexus LFA's naturally-aspirated V10 is widely considered one of the greatest engine sounds ever recorded. The 2027 TZ will let you hear it on demand, piped through the cabin of a three-row family SUV. Lexus's first all-electric three-row, it runs dual motors producing 402 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque through a DIRECT4 AWD system, reaching 0-62 in 5.4 seconds. The 95.82-kWh battery pack carries an estimated 300-mile range, charges from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes at 150 kW, and ships with a NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access. Optional rear-wheel steering turns up to 4 degrees for a turning radius of 17.2 feet, tighter than some compact crossovers. The 200.8-inch body houses Forged Bamboo trim made from Shikoku bamboo fibers and resin, bio-based UltraSuede upholstery, a 21-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, and six Japanese-inspired ambient lighting themes. Towing reaches 3,500 pounds. Lexus built the quietest SUV cabin in its lineup, then gave you the option to make it sound like a $375,000 supercar.
