Lucid Air Sapphire EV

Lucid is releasing the best-performing version of its Lucid EV sedan yet, the Air Sapphire. The acceleration performance claims Lucid makes for the Sapphire are astounding: 0-60 in under two seconds, 0-100 in under four, and a 1/4 mile sprint in less than nine. Top speed is 200 MPH. Those numbers come thanks to a three-motor drivetrain that puts more than 1,200 horsepower to all four wheels. All that power is paired with a new aero package, carbon ceramic brakes, and a track-tuned suspension. Those numbers do not come at the cost of comfort, with the interior featuring 18-way power seats and a full-length glass roof. The Sapphire will be a limited-production model, with deliveries beginning in 2023.
