Lume Ranger Lightweight Caravan
Lume Traveler built the Ranger as its lightest caravan yet, light enough that most owners can tow it on a standard driver's license rather than needing special towing certification, since the combined weight of caravan and vehicle stays under 7,716 pounds. Inside, wool felt lines the walls, teak covers the floor, and leather details replace the usual plastic finish found in most caravans this size, while a pop-up roof opens the interior vertically for more headroom while parked. A queen-size Auping bed gives two people a permanent sleeping setup, and cooking happens entirely outside in Lume's pull-out kitchen, allowing the interior to be focused on sleeping and relaxing rather than crowded with appliances. At just over 2,535 pounds empty and 17 feet long including the drawbar, it's been nominated for the ANWB Caravan of the Year award, recognition for the brand's lightest and most innovative model to date.
