The latest EV conversion from Lunaz is a take on James Bond's convertible Range Rover Safari from 1983's Octopussy. A one-off commission, the restored Range Rover has been stripped and restored by Lunaz with a client-specified reinforced frame and body. A transplanted electric powertrain makes 375 horsepower, with the exterior retaining its classic lines in Maya Blue. Things take a turn with the interior. A 3D-printed dash and console replace the original units in a style that complements the design. The padding and upholstery of the heated seats are made from upcycled materials, with the upholstery being a waterproof material inspired by British hunting jackets. Suspension components are upgraded with adjustable dampers and springs, with disc brakes fitted at all four corners.
